Our military men and women have made incredible sacrifices to ensure our freedom. It is a debt I will never be able to repay, but one for which I am eternally grateful. Today we had the opportunity to give back to military families through a donation of over 370 household cleaning supplies and personal care items to the Fisher House of Alaska located on Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson.
“For 30 years, the Fisher House program has provided a ‘home away from home’ for families of patients receiving medical care at major military and VA medical centers. These homes offer free, temporary lodging to military and veterans’ families, allowing them to be close to their loved ones during a medical crisis and focus on what’s important – the healing process.” Learn more at fisherhouse.org.
